• Educational Qualifications:
  • Applicants must have attained a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university or institute
  • Aspirants must be able to read, speak as well as write the Bengali language.
    (Candidates with Nepali as a mother tongue will have to attain this qualification)
• Age Limit:
• Aspirant’s minimum age should not be lower than 21 years old and the maximum age should not be more than 36 years old (Group ‘A’ & ’C)
• The minimum age for applicants should be 20 years old and the maximum age should be 36 years old (Group ‘B’ Service)
• Aspirants should not be below 21 years old and more than 49 years old for Group ‘D’ Service.
• Age relaxation in the upper age limit is 5 years for SC and ST aspirants and 3 years for OBC candidates.

WBPSC Civil Service Recruitment Application Fee

The officials are providing online and offline modes for the submission of application fees. Now the aspirants can pay the fee as per their preference. The application fee for the recruitment is Rs. 210/- Candidates will also be charged a minimum of 5 rupees as a service charge and GST as applicable. If the payment is done offline then the Rs. 20.- will be charged as a service charge. Aspirants belonging to the SC, ST and PWD are exempted from paying any application fee for the West Bengal WBCS Recruitment.
